I can't keep up with what is and what isn't! Mine are a state.

From 01 August. I’ve already booked 😁

Oh yay! Great news. Guess that will be the same for massage?

Not sure about that I’m afraid.

Yes, but some places have a minimum spend to make it worthwhile as they have to thoroughly clean down between clients, so you might want to check before booking.

Does this apply to all eyebrow stuff? I am desperate to get mine microbladed again as they've really faded, not sure when that will be allowed.

Very sexist that men can get a beard trim but ladies not an eyebrow wax

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 23/07/2020 17:51

I had mine waxed and threaded today. (Scotland.)

This is going to sound a bit daft, but were they wearing masks / visors? How does it work? I figured threading just was off the table for now and bit the bullet to try waxing instead (it’s bleak times here, I’m in full mono brow territory!)

CloudsCanLookLikeSheep · 23/07/2020 19:02

Yay got my microblading top up booked for 6th August. Bloody well need it!

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 23/07/2020 19:03

Sanitiser on the way in, and out, everyone in masks. Gaps between clients for cleaning. Tools were sitting in what I assume was disinfectant type stuff, but none were needed for mevother than a disposable mascara spoolie thing.

My lady doesn’t actually use her mouth though, she trained in HD Brows and does threading with her hands which she has always said is more hygienic. (She actually offered to teach me last year, which I wished I had taken her up on during lockdown!)

I am white but very dark, and VERY hairy. I got mine last done on the Monday lockdown was announced and she granted me permission to pluck if it went ahead, because she knew I would end up unable to see! (We knew one another before she opened the salon, she is not rude to her normal clients!)
