Help! My trusty old ghd's have officially given up the ghost today. I think I'm going to have to accept that they need to be replaced.

Can anyone recommend a new (reasonably priced) set? Are ghds still the best brand or are there a lot better competitors out there?

Bonus if they can be delivered or collected pretty quickly to sort out my crazy mop of hair.

Thanks!

Kipozi wide-plates on amazon. Much better than ghd and room in the box to store my heat spray & a sectioning clip.

Just looked them up, wow they are reasonable! That is definitely a better price than I thought I was going to have to spend!

I got mine after I saw them recommended on here. Ghd never kept my hair straight for more than a day so I set these at 195c & it keeps its shape now.

They are quite expensive but L'oreal Steampod 3 are the best straighteners I've tried. Way better than GHD and T3. Less damage too. You can get the 1 and 2 version for a much lower price.

I got the kipozi ones after my ghds died after a decade of use...couldn't afford to replace so thought I'd try the kipozi. I love them

Cloud 9. The founder also started up GHD

Im happy with my Kipozi after years of using GHDs, I just wouldnt spend £100+ on straighteners now. They might not be as good as the newest GHDs but they're just as good as my old pair were, and thats good enough for me! I got the wide plate ones too.

Thanks so much for all the help. I've gone for the kipozi ones because you can't go wrong for that price! And amazon next day delivery means I'm not housebound with a head of frizzy hair for long. 😆
