Stumbled onto the brand Reformation..

I love the styles, especially the dresses but want to know if they are worth the price tag? Do the clothes last long? Do they run small or big? What are they like length wise? Do they tend to be made for women that are taller than average? What is their return policy like? What is your experience?

Personally no, the material isn't great and in my experience they look better online than in real life. I would say sizing is true to form. I am 8 stone and 5 7 but I did feel they were made for a young womens body even though my body (aside from my face!!) is v youthful. It could of just been the dress I picked though as it was quite flimsy. They are not cheap when taxes are added either. If you are looking for something similar I would go with Rouje- their stuff is amazing

@workshy44

Thank you! I just took a look at around and they do look amazing. Any other recommendations?

Lovely dresses but not sure where I'd park my boobs and hips.

Reformation is really hit or miss. The linen stuff is really good value for money but the viscose stuff I'd give a miss, silks can be good but equally sub pat. There are a few European retailers that stock them, but choice is limited but I'd recommend it over the website as the sizing can be odd, it can be too large in one item and too small in the next.

If you like the look of Rouje but can afford to pay for a higher quality version of it, have a look at Nathalie Dumeix. She was/is responsible for the Rouje creative side but her own stuff is definitely worth the extra money in terms of finish, fit, material, etc.

If Sezane has managed to elude you so far, have a look at that too.

Rails too has lovely stuff, its expensive but the stuff I have purchased has been v good quality
Thanks Botemp- will check that out

I don’t mind Sezane, but style wise they have been a bit hit/miss with me. Nothing of interest at the moment.

What’s Rails?
