Botox alternatives

I need to do something about my lines but botox isn't for me. Can anyone recommend any alternatives that work?

Are the lines deep?
To look after your skin then plenty of water, SPF all year round and good skincare combined with regular peels or microneedling but there isn't a lot you can do for deep lines?

Are no injectable treatments for you?
Where are the lines?

The lines aren't deep, they just appear when I frown or do a surprised kind of face.
I just worry they will get worse with age.

Well of course they will get worse with age!

You could look up ‘mini facelift’. I haven’t had one but I would if I could afford it. I think it is a sensible alternative to Botox and you can go home the same day.

Haha yes I suppose they will which is why I would like to do something about it now if at all possible. Maybe what I'm looking for doesn't exist.

If it's dynamic wrinkles you're worried about, you may be interested in argireline, a topical peptide which it's claimed can block the muscle receptors in a similar way to Botox. But be aware the efficacy is very limited as it does not reach the lower layers of the skin in the way that an injectable can.

If you're interested in trying it out, The Ordinary do an argireline serum for about a fiver.

The ordinary argieline

A red light mask to stimulate collagen is good
Why no Botox?
