I had a helix piercing (Shen men area) and loved the placement of it. Just before lockdown I was trying to change the attachment and couldn’t get it back in and it closed up really quickly.
I went yesterday to get it and asked if it could be in the same place which he said was fine. It is ever so slightly wrong - it is a little bit too close to the rim of my ear and I don’t think the attachment I want to put in when it heals will fit right. It is also a bit further away from the original piercing at the back, it slopes upwards and the labret is resting where my ear meets my head. It will be really fiddly to change and I’m worried it won’t sit right.
Is my best option just to take it out, let it heal and try again?
