Is this to much for a dinner date

Going on a date for my birthday soon if we go for dinner would this dress be to much. I’m 25 if it makes any difference and would wear it with heels and a cropped black denim fitted jacket.

I meant, than if you wore it with high-heeled shoes, not tights. Sorry!

Go glam. How long is your hair?

Littlebeachhut · 22/07/2020 15:32

This is my hair so very long and thick thinking big bouncy blow dry curls

The first dress is lovely, but would not wear a jacket or anything, to cover up a great neckline like that. I love the split in the dress also.It is a glamorous dress and doesn't need any cover up.

PinkyBrain · 22/07/2020 16:59

I love the dress and if you go denim jacket and not too high heeled sandals then you’re fine for a pub or can take the jacket off if restaurant.

Did you have a lovely time?!

Rebelwithallthecause · 25/07/2020 11:41

I’m 34 and would happily wear both of those dresses (I’d need a slightly better figure for the top one post babies though)

Mildly Jealous of you going out for dinner and for the lovely dresses I can imagine I will be wearing for a long long time 😭

Rebelwithallthecause · 25/07/2020 11:43

I didn’t read the whole thread - hope the date went well

Happy birthday! Hope you had a good one

Littlebeachhut · 25/07/2020 15:59

Had an amazing time he told me I looked lovely but when I got home he text to say that I looked beautiful and had a wow moment when I got in the car. Ended up wearing the skirt and top x

This thread has made me smile-glad you had a lovely time and wore what you felt comfortable in. Your hair is amazing.

Fwiw, I love the dress with the exposed zip and was secretly hoping you'd choose that!

Have a lovely birthday.

Littlebeachhut · 26/07/2020 08:40

So glad it's going so well!! As long as neither of you is veggie...picnic favourite.... get some ready-roasted chicken legs, put on an oven tray, sprinkle with soy sauce, heat through for about 20 minutes, wrap in foil and put in a tub. Wrap in a tea towel to keep warm. Bring a stack of paper napkins. And a chilled bottle of fizz!
