Hair disaster

Can I ask what you would do if you went to the hairdresser and it was just a mess - nothing like you wanted and technically a mess ? I assume you would go back to the same hairdresser for them to correct ? Would you go to the same stylist or would you ask for someone else ? If there are any hairdressers on here , how do you feel about a situation like this ? Honestly - do you prefer to redo the person ? Would you be insulted if she went to someone else? Any comments thankfully received. I feel I don't want to go back to this same person but it's a stressful situation going in to go to someone else.

When I had a dodgy haircut I asked for the manager to do it.

Manager/top stylist.

I had a bayalage that went wrong once. I rang the salon a couple of days after having it done and politely explained that since washing it at home and styling it myself it was a lot more "blocky" than I had realised or wanted, and they booked me in with the top colour stylist to fix it, no charge.

I'm assuming most good salons would do similar to save their reputation.

This happened to me once. My stylist IS the most senior colourist at my salon, but he had a colleague who was on the same level as him. Luckily he was on holiday when I wanted my hair corrected, so there wasn’t any awkwardness when his colleague corrected it as he wasn’t in. I wouldn’t have minded if he corrected it himself though as he’s very good, I just couldn’t face “complaining” to his face

How bad is it ? I would ask for my money back if it's that bad ? Was it noticeable when you left? I leave with my hair wet so I can't see the colour until I'm home and dried it .
