Hey 👋

I’m looking to buy a face mask for combination skin that a can pamper myself with a couple of times a week. I’m definitely oily in the tzone and prone to spots at times.

Thanks in advance!

I always recommend dermalogicas multivitamin mask, I have oily skin and unless I leave it on ages I don’t break out on it but it gives you rich person skin.

I buy sachets off eBay.

Thanks @Fluffycloudland77 I’ll check it out. I think we’ve spoken before as you’ve also taken roaccutane like I have? 6 months down the line, my skin is definitely oily again (gutted I now have to wash my hair every other day again) and I am getting the odd breakout, although no painful, cystic spots xx

So is mine! But I’m not getting spots. Maybe a topical would knock it on the head at this stage?.

I’m using the lee stafford shampoo brush when I wash my hair and it’s getting it cleaner.

@Fluffycloudland77 I’ve been using differin for about 4 months but it hasn’t stopped the inflamed spots- although I don’t have any blackheads.

I’ve got an app with a private derm in a few weeks so will see what he suggests. I would categorise my acne as mild probably but I was hoping I’d get a bit longer spot free xx

It only works for 8/10. So 2/10 are disappointed. The nhs derm told me if it didn’t work don’t bother with the dr just ask to come back to us. One of the nurses there needed it 3 times but had beautiful skin.

I would take it again. I did get spots recently but I was wearing a visor & a face mask at work so I’ll overlook it. I’ve still got a months supply of lymecycline upstairs in case anything happens & I need it.

That’s a good point. I would take it again if I had to I suppose. Bloody fed up of trying to cover spots at 38! Xx
