Firstly, I know there are loads of airwrap threads so sorry for another one!
I’ve just bought an airwrap and love the way it curls my hair, but the curls drop so quickly. I got maybe 2 hours out of the curls I did yesterday. I have fairly long, ridiculously thick hair which probably doesn’t help but I have been able to get curls to last a full day before, when using normal curlers.
I’m using the larger barrels and want to get a ‘voluminous curls/waves’ look. I think my hair is roughly the right level of damp (I have tried wetter but then the barrel doesn’t seem to pick it up and wrap it around as easily) and I use the cold shot at the end.
Are there any products/techniques I can use to try to get the curls to last?
