I need some help with my bloody hair! It’s not particularly think but I have a lot of it. It’s curly but more messy waves than proper curly so I tend to straighten it a lot. Issue I have is I will blow dry and straighten and it will look all lovely and smooth, 30 seconds outside and it starts to frizz and kink and I end up looking unkept and scruffy. Looking for recommendations for products I can use to put on my hair either before or after styling that will keep my hair in the state is was when I left the house please!

your hair sounds just like mine. i tried the banana shampoo and conditioner which worked for a while then it went back to normal. Sorry i dont have a miracle solution but i will be watching with interest

Is that the Garnier stuff? I was looking at their coconut frizzy hair stuff

Your hair sounds very similar to mine. Naturally curly/frizzy and straightened to within an inch of its life which looks fine until the weather is anything less than perfect when I look like I've slept in a hedge. I have just started using sulphate free shampoo and conditioner which is an absolute game changer. So much less frizzy. I'm never looking back.

My hair used to be like this, then I started getting Keratin treatment at the hairdressers.

I get it every 6 months, it is expensive (costs £100) but it makes my life SO much better with my hair and just amazing.

Fyi I am using v expensive stuff I got as a birthday present. If I could find a cheaper alternative I would go for it but otherwise this is going to be my one treat to myself

Might give the garnier stuff a go! I’m just fed up of spending so much time styling and looking like a mess by the time I get to where I’m going

Oh I have that. Not sure it is any better than any other conditioner. But I've tried everything.

My hair is so frizzy. I straighten if every day.

The only thing that helps a bit is not using shampoo every time you wash your hair. Just use conditioner to 'wash' it.

Yes sorry it was the hair food. I havent tried the coconut but the banana one is good. It makes a difference if i blow dry my hair straight afterwards. Leave it to dry by itself and its a frizzy mess. It certainly feels better (smoother) too

What really helps me is putting on Olaplex No 3 once a week and leaving it in until I wash my hair the next day. Using Faith in Nature coconut and frangipani shampoo and conditioner and Elvive Frizz Killer leave in serum (it's for long hair - mine is very short but it works!). I do have porous hair, prone to dryness though.
