If you are married...

What extra beauty routine did you do in the lead up to your wedding to make you feel extra confident?

My friends have always looked amazing during the period they got married - not just on the day but on the lead up so I'm assuming it's more than just a happy glow!

So far my list is:
Fix posture
Tone arms
Whiten teeth
Sort eyebrows

Any tips please 😀

I forgot to paint my toenails. Otherwise all I got done were nails and lashes. I was a bit low maintenance. Was actually thinking this morning I should have probably got my brows done, some kind of hair treatment, botox, basically all the things everyone else seems to get done pre wedding😂

I still looked lovely though.

Love yourself as much as your fiancé does, and stop obsessing about your appearance!

@BrandoraPaithwaite it's ok to want to look nice on your wedding you know.

It doesn't mean you don't love yourself!

I had a hair and makeup person on the day. We met in advance and she gave me some skincare advice which I've followed ever since (use face oil, you have very dry skin!) In other areas though, I did almost nothing and enjoyed the fact that I was going to get married as 'me'. My mother was appalled Grin Nearly 10 years later I still look like me and with good skin.

Start at the top...

Hair- get a stylist for the day, get to desired colour cut and condition beforehand
Face - botox in advance, make up artist for the day, brows- blading top up or tint and shape. Whiten teeth if needed
Skin - tan, real or fake, exfoliate, cover blemishes or tattoos if you need to
Nails - hands and toes, probably you want a full manicure and pedi before
Body - get in shape/ workout/ posture whatever you need to do at least 6 months before start this!
Then make sure you get your bridesmaids to do the same, nails and make up agree colours etc, hair do you want them to have it done to a certain style on the day?

I used a sun bed once a week for 6 weeks before hand. It's my dirty secret and I've never told a soul but it gave me a glow and meant I still looked good once my make up slid off (it was very hot)

Otherwise lost weight, had brows done, wore subtle fake lashes.
