I've been doing my own nails for the last always used blue sky .
Unfortunately the last few times I've used it the skin around my nails have become unbearably itchy . Could anyone recommend an allergy free brand or know what ingredients I could of reacted to ?Shock

Nope that’s it now. I’m afraid all nail coatings are acrylic & it’s the acrylic you’ll be reacting to.

Uncured acrylic is highly allergenic. You might get away with nail varnish for short periods of time.

Do a google search, gel nails at home is causing an increase in acrylic allergies.

Sadly this happened to me and that's it. All types of gel nails set me off now.
The reaction I have is pompholyx where there are tiny little blisters around my nail bed and down the sides of my fingers. As the skin there is now so damaged I even have reactions to my hands and feet being in strong (for me) direct sunlight.
I have to use strong steroid cream when a flare up happens.
If I were you, stop now while you're ahead.
