How do I turn this into a bracelet?

I have part of a broken piece of costume jewellery (necklace).
The width is fine.
If I used a magnetic fastening, how would I attach the parts?

Is that a ring at the end? If so it's quite easy - just add a chain and fasteners using jump rings.
