So my friend recently gave me some of the ordinary products and I've loved using them! My skins never looked so good. So I ordered some more

What order would you use these products in the am and pm.

Caffeine solution 5%
Niacinamide 10% + zinc 1%
Retinol 2% in Squalane

Another other of there products does anyone use and can recommend

I love the squalene cleanser and natural moisturiser

Caffeine’s twice a day for me. Retinol always at night. You need to wear proper sunblock if you use retinol.

I use Buffet & hyaluronic acid under my moisturiser in the morning.

And

ascorbyl solution under my night cream (or retinoid twice a week on its own) in the evening

Also the red peeling solution once a week.

My skin has never looked better either. I love the ordinary!

I have since heard that their retinol solution is not the best due to the packaging allowing light in which degrades it - so I will be investing in a better retinol which will be £££ unfortunately.

If you go on the Deciem website you can chat with them and they will advise you on a regime

Maybe start with 0.5 or 1% retinol to ease your skin as it can lead to peeling every other evening is great.

Ferulic mixed with other vit C 23 or 30% in the morning.

Glycolic, buffet and amino acids are all good

I mix Rosehip oil, squalene and Argan oil from the ordinary with a few drops of rose Otto oil to make a serum to put on after water based formulations

And I mix hyaraulanic (sp?) with a water based moisturiser if I’m super tired.

I’m keen to try the caffeine products next.

Their website is great and helpful with contraindications so you don’t mix the wrong products together.

Generally use water-based serums like buffet first, then oil-based, then moisturiser if needed. Do not mix niacinamide and vit C in the same application - not because it will react badly, but the vit C will be degraded and not work very well. As a pp said, if you go to the Deciem site, they have consultants who can help you work out a regime.
