Can anyone recommend a temp hair colour please?

Something that will wash out over a couple of weeks or so. I'm going my hair back after chemo (last one a year ago) and I don't really want to go back to highlights/colour at the hairdressers every 8 weeks. My hair has grown back much darker than it was with a few greys that I swear were not there before! I wouldn't mind all grey but a few strands really stand out and I quite fancy just putting a warmer tone through my hair to see what it's like. I know it won't cover grey but I'm just experimenting at the mo I suppose.

Can anyone recommend anything that I can do at home and give a nice warm tone please?

This is my own colour. Needs a bit of oomph!

I’ve used L’Oréal castings semi permanent through lockdown when I couldn’t go to the salon . It’s easy to use and covers any grey but it lasts longer than two weeks. I wash my hair every other day and it lasted 4-5 weeks . It leaves hair lovely and shiny . Your hair looks lovely and thick . I bet it would take a colour quite easily though so be wary of going too dark . I hope you’ll post the results !

Oh I'm not brave enough to do that myself @cakemorecake! 🤣

@Canzy that sounds ideal! My hair has always taken colour really easily so I need to be a bit cautious I suppose - they never believe me at the hairdressers when I tell them this so I always get them to check after 15 mins or so and they're always shocked.

I recommended the colour shampoo from Superdrug in another thread. It washes in and washes out.

I use Nice and Easy semi permanent, it lasts around 3/4 weeks with washing hair every other day, although obviously it fades much quicker. I'm using dark blonde but there are lots of colours

I've used Castings and Nice and Easy semi-permanent. They last about 24 washes, fading over the time.

Have gone for Castings in chocolate caramel so hoping it's a nice rich colour. Thanks folks. Smile
