Suggest me a summery dress for forest ceremony!

We are having a tiny ceremony in the woods (!) end of this month with a handful close folk for our baby. Think christening but small size and in the middle of random forests amidst humongous trees, with fairy lights on a logpile house. Symbolic, non religious and quite cute really.... was initially planned for a hotel with lots of friends and food - but hey - thanks Covid.

Nonetheless - said baby is mine - and I am needing to find a dress for the day. First restriction : it’s got to be black. My entire wardrobe has long been black and I don’t plan to appear in a sudden new colour. Given that - what do you recommend? Need a size 12 and ideally something that is knee length/midi and covers upper arms.....

I like lace .....

I have a nice neck/décolletage I think to balance off the upper arms ....

It needs to be easy to move around in and suited for a forest! And for carrying a 5.5 month old around...

Have been looking at Next H and M Boden Mango Zara...

Or this?
It's jersey and lace so might be comfy

Rains always a risk with such things - will play by ear and change date at short notice if forecast looking ominous, and if super sudden - everyone bringing umbrellas so will wing it :) it will be unusual and memorable either way :)

Update : here is the dress I ended up getting - from ASOS - for £43

I also couldn’t stop myself from buying a mango dress for £49 (the second pic attached)

But - whilst I like the lace work on both am thinking that the floral embroidered black is more suiting for a forest gathering.. I own both now (yay!) but possibly wearing that.

Any suggestions for hairstyles (I have just above shoulder length layers, straight black hair) and for accessories ? (Sandals, earrings, pendants or such?)

Ah, I live the ASOS one Smile

Personally I'd keep hair down (will it hold a wave? That might look nice) and maybe wear wedges? And a silver pendant necklace.
