My hair is fine and very straight. I had a few perms when younger (80s) which were great at the time.
Last year we renewed our vows and I wanted a “wavy” style. Hairdresser suggested a perm - I said I didn’t want a frizz - she said they aren’t like that these days. I had it done in Sept 18 before a holiday ( vow renewal was May 19). It was a frizz! I had to buy curling tongs to get it to a softer curl. Luckily by May it had relaxed a lot.
It’s fully grown out now and she suggested another. I said I can’t live through the frizz stage - she said she will use much bigger rollers this time.
Do I risk it?
