I am fair with blue eyes. If I colour it myself what could I do with it? What would look good.

It is really difficult for me at the mo to get a hair appointment. I might just have to wait it out even longer but welcome thoughts please.

Chocolate brown usually goes well with fair skin and blue eyes.

I should have said I'm naturally blonde albeit mousy but I could try brown I've never had it dark before.

What kind of length/style do you have?

Bunnymumy · 12/07/2020 16:32

Yeah, might be fun to try something different. It wont be as harsh on your hair as lightening it would either. Could go for a lighter, warmer chocolate shade over a darker one (like milk chocolate not dark choco) if youd wanted.

I'm pale with blue eyes too and if I ever get my hair dyed at the salon I always choose chocolate shade now as I know they suit me better than blonde.

My hair is the same colour, I have blue eyes and fair skin that tans if I go slowly, for years have had bleach highlights so over the years it got too light, I'm 59 and going to try to grow them out, about two years ago I went a year without going to hairdressers as my highlight are very light blonde I use purple shampoo every other time so my highlights looked silver purple and my natural hair was a mousey chocolate brown it was like chocolate and cream I loved it.

Try some non-permanent colour shampoos. I tried a Superdrug one and it does brighten the colour.

You could try blonde, chestnut etc www.superdrug.com/Hair/Hair-Colourants/Wash-In-Wash-Out/Superdrug-Colour-Effects-Wash-Out-Hair-Dye-Rich-Warm-Brown-4/p/751854?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIyNPyzLvI6gIVDO7tCh1mAwfEEAQYASABEgIuQ_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I have mousy greying hair and the blonde one suits me best. It is subtle but does work. And it washes out.

I had your colouring and used to colour mine a colour called "red/brown". By Casting I think. It looked chestnut and really natural (as I also have freckles). I only stopped when I developed a reaction.
