Best Bubble Bath Known To Man

Hit me with it please!!

About to have a bath fitted after years of only having a shower and I am a little excited to say the least.

Love the idea of bath bombs but am concerned about staining so will probably avoid for now.

Any other tips for an amazing, relaxing and indulgent bath?

The Bramley ones are really nice, but for hands-down indulgence Oliverum. Ridiculously expensive though.

SugarMiceInTheRain · 11/07/2020 16:19

I hate bath bombs but love a bubble bath. I'm not particularly bothered about which particular bubble bath but like to add a few drops of essential oils to my bath. Bliss.

BillyAndTheSillies · 11/07/2020 16:20

Rituals make the best bubbles in our house. And smell divine!

LunaNorth · 11/07/2020 16:21

I really like the Sanctuary Spa ones you get in Sainsbury’s.

Not very glam but lots of lovely bubbles and a gorgeous scent.

athousandstrawberrylollys · 11/07/2020 16:31

Someone gave me some l'occitane lavender bubble bath as a christmas present. Definitely a special treat purchase but it was blissful!

I am mad mad mad about baths. I love them and have done a lot of testing of things to go in them.

My favourite bubble bath is the incredible and weirdly cheap Argan Oil Rose Bath which I get from Waitrose but I think is also available from Amazon. Bargain.

My favourite oil is Deep Relax by Aromatherapy Associates. So lovely.

I Coloniali

DancingLady · 11/07/2020 19:27

Ren Rose Otto bath oil is amazing. Epsom salts are great too, or good old Radox.

ElizabethinherGermanGarden · 11/07/2020 19:29

Can't beat Badedas. Good sturdy bubbles and green water and lovely smell. It's like Dynasty in a bottle.

QueenCT · 11/07/2020 19:34

A few I really like

Olverum
Kneipp
Feather and down
Wild and wood

WrinklesShminkles · 11/07/2020 19:34

I like the Argan Oil Rose Bath too. You can get it in a travel size (which I take to hotels 🛀) if you want to try it out.

Glendaruel · 11/07/2020 19:37

Morrison's currently have limited edition radox original, I stepped back in time and had terrific soak last night!!!

DeRigueurMortis · 11/07/2020 19:38

Super expensive but the Laura Mercier creme brûlée bath is divine.

It smells incredible and is really moisturising.

It's something I ask for Christmas every year and guard it jealously (and use it sparingly).

ChequerBoard · 11/07/2020 19:41

Hands down most luxurious bath products ever are the Laura Mercier honey bath range. Creamy thick bubbles that smell Devine and leave your skin feeling amazing. For supersonic results use the matching body scrub and body cream.

There are several different fragrances available in the range, my personal favourites are the creme brûlée and the fresh fig but the ambre vanille and the almond coconut are also amazing. Still mourning the discontinued pistachio one though.

Chatons · 11/07/2020 19:44

Badedas!

Or Radox original (WHY is it only limited edition???), which is herby, or Radox feel pampered, which is creamy and dreamy.

Also a good handful or two of either Epsom salts or magnesium flakes.

bettsbattenburg · 11/07/2020 19:45

I like the Neals Yard ones best. I use the teeniest amount and then use the shower attachment we have on the taps and run that into the bath instead of the taps so I get masses and masses of bubbles. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, leave the bathroom if you are doing this Grin

efeslight · 11/07/2020 19:51

Does anyone remember Radox doing a wheat or wheatgerm bubble bath? Was in a beige tall bottle and smelt beautiful and I haven't seen it anywhere for years

Trixieandkatya · 11/07/2020 20:21

@bettsbattenburg I second filling the bath with the shower attachment for loads of bubbles, I always do it for DS, he practically disappears in the bubbles and he loves it Grin

inglory · 11/07/2020 20:40

Super expensive but the Laura Mercier creme brûlée bath is divine.

I use this & Kneipp, will try the Rose one mentioned here though.

I put baby oil drops in the bath to help moisturise.

Aveeno might be similar?

Following with interest!

The pink grapefruit Waitrose one is lovely! Super cheap too! £1-2 I think

RaggieDolls · 11/07/2020 21:15

Second Neal's Yard. I like the Seaweed and Arnica one.

I also like Radox as a budget option.

vicarlady · 11/07/2020 21:22

Another vote for Badedas. I've been using it for some fifty years and still love it.

Jellycatspyjamas · 11/07/2020 22:33

Badedas for bubbles, but for sheer luxury you can’t beat Espa bath oils - absolutely lovely scent.

Immigrantsong · 11/07/2020 22:35

Kneipp, lovely scents.
