Some questions about dermarolling

I ordered my kit today - yay!! Please can experienced folks answer my questions?

  1. I’m trying to reduce hyperpigmentation on my face. What serums would you recommend?
  1. What to apply before and after dermarolling?
  1. When is the best time to do it? I’m a tummy sleeper, so my face is in full contact with the pillow all night! Is it better to do it first thing in the morning instead?
  1. When can I go out? I know I cannot apply make up etc straight away. What about sun cream?

Any advice/tips are gratefully received !!

What size have you got? I ask as generally at hime dermarollers arent long enough to tackle problems. Dermarollers work by causing trauma and stimulating fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin. So its used to plump out scars lines etc. Also home kits the needles can not be very could see image of the needles after one use.
For pigmentation you are better using peels etc to deeply exfoliate wear 50 spf eveyday.
Vit c is very brightening so i would use after rolling as it will help the product penetrate into the skin, and hydrate (hyaluronic acid) there are peptides that will help with brightening and liquorice root a ingredient to look out for.

Could =good
Sorry if post slightly incoherent.
At home rollers will help with product penetration
Brightening products vit c liquorice root and peptides and niacinamide.
Hydrating also helps.
If pigmentation bad enough professional peels, laser etc really help. If want to go down the at home root the ordinary aha and bha peel very good.

I've been dermarolling for about a month with a 0.2 roller. I use it once a week at night after cleansing but before any skincare items. Immediately after I've dermrolled I use a sheet mask so the ingredients soak straight in then I follow with a serum, eye cream, moisturiser then oil. Hope this helps. I've just got the 0.3 size to move onto after I've done 16 weeks of 0.2.

Thank you :) @Ffsseriously and @louisethedisease

I’ve ordered 0.2 ones to start with.

Interested to see if any of the posters above have recent feedback on their dermarolling experience...
