Anyone shopped from Everlane?

What are they like?
I've found two items I like on the website.
I've not heard of them - before I pay and regret it, I thought I would ask you.

I've never bought from them but I watch a lot of clothes 'unboxing' videos and reviews on You Tube that often include items from Everlane and from what I can see they are good quality clothes and the company is well thought of.

There's been massive backlash against Everlane online lately, relating to racist treatment of employees.

It's a shame, because I liked the look of them and was considering buying. I'll be watching to see if they deal with this in a meaningful way before buying anything from them!

I haven’t ordered from there myself, but from what I’ve read the returns can be a nightmare - you have to pay and there’s import tax to pay with shipping etc.

I've ordered from there a few times.

Loafers are really great, good quality and look good. Sizing was small. Sandals were uncomfortable and not great for walking all day.

T-shirts poor quality.
Merino slim fitting jumper had holes in after a few washes.
Cashmere good for the price.

I don't think they are anything special. Mid quality preppy basics, the likes of which can be found in lots of places.
The ethical and sustainable ethos must surely be negated by shipping halfway across the world, not to mention import taxes and return costs.
Then the claims of racism mentioned by a PP.

I have a jumper and a T-shirt I've ordered from them. Very pleased with both!

That's really helpful. @fizzypopbanh123 what other companies would you suggest I try for the same stuff at the same sort of price point? Looking at the cashmere and the 100% cotton french Terry sweatshirt specifically.

I have bought a lot from them, and returned a lot too - £6 one off returns fee, bear in mind if you return anything you also get a refund on the taxes/duty you've paid.
I'd recommend - The day glove, straight leg crop pants, slim leg crop pants, slim classic french terry sweatshirt.
I wouldn't recommend their shirts, I've bought a few styles and they are literally see through. I've also heard about their t-shirts being bad quality.

Update
I did order 2 French Terry sweatshirts. One womens in medium and one mens in small (for me and sizes I would have picked in UK normally)
I am extremely happy with the quality and the speed of delivery. Really good fit and would 100% order again
