Anybody wear Levi’s 501

I had a pair in 90’s and loved them. I am thinking of buying another pair. Will I still be in love or have they had their day ?

I also used to wear them back in the day and recently bought some on eBay. I love them! Slouchy and oversized they still look good and my 13 year old begged me to let her have them

They are a classic. I love them. Shifted from skinny jeans a while back.

I had some in the 90s too (black black ones) and have been thinking about them again recently.

I still wear them. I wouldn’t wear any other jeans, it would feel like I was being unfaithful.

Probably a silly question, but do they still make women’s 501s or do you have to buy vintage? I haven’t been able to find them online anywhere...

I have two pairs of 501s. I think they have been redesigned as a crop, specifically for women, so not quite the same cut as the vintage ones. I really like them - I wear mine with trainers or DM monkey boots. I am also a big fan of the Levi’s balloon leg jeans.

The women's version is a 901 from what I remember..have a pair still and the regular ones.. classic.!

Even though they're a classic style, they have fiddled around a little with the cut over the years depending what's in fashion generally with jeans (see PP comment about currently available in a cropped version new). I've been lucky and unlucky via eBay. Getting to a vintage shop is best. Maybe one day soon...

Yeah all I can find are the cropped version. I may try eBay for a vintage pair.

I still have my black 1990s 501s, and they still fit: does that make them vintage? Bit ragged on the hem now though, and have needed a bath in Dylon a few times.
