Hi - can anyone recommend a decent shampoo for coloured hair and where to buy it at a decent price?
Many thanks.

What colour?

I've been told to use a shampoo of the opposite colour on the colour spectrum.

It’s like a light brown semi permanent with some blonde balayage - I know it will fade so just want to make sure I look after it!!

I would use purple shampoo. It will keep the balayage fresh and the brown cool.

Great thank you - is it worth spending on an expensive one or not really?
Also would I just use that a couple of tones a week?

I get the touch of silver by provoke. It's available in Tesco for £3 and BnM for £2. I used it twice a week and left in while I shave my legs etc. When I had balayage I focused it on the blonde.

defo get purple shampoo. The best one is osmo if you can get hold of it but wear gloves if you don't want purple cuticles lol.

I use Osmo, which is the only one I’ve used which makes a difference. But as pp said you will need gloves and move all light coloured bath mats and towels away from the shower in case of splattering. (Learned the expensive way)
