We're ACTUALLY going on a, SUMMER HOLIDAY!

So, thanks to airbrushes it would seem our holiday in the South of France is on!

This is a cause for celebration but also mild panic.... I've put on a good few pounds in lockdown and am too scared to try on my summer holiday clothes.

So, in a dream world, I'd buy a new, stylish, summer wardrobe. I'm thinking french chic with a bit of romantic hippy thrown in. I can't afford all the lovely things on the OUTNET that I've added to my wish list, so hit me with your fave (affordable) summer buys of 2020!

Hopefully we can share holiday purchases as we prep for that glorious week away from home, wherever in the world it is!

Mine are more minimal-tinged than hippy, and mostly old favourites or sales buys, but as mentioned on another thread I am very excited about this black midi dress from & Other Stories which in my head will make me look like a glamorous Sicilian widow as I waft around the nearest supermarché

Lovely shorts! They will be gorgeous on holiday (temperature check for south of France: 33C today!)

I like a bit of black on holiday, it's usually the basis of my packing list. Only one black dress at a time though - other contenders are viscose button-through from H&M and strappy maxi from the COS sale. Must. Not. Overpack.

Love the shorts, I usually get mine at HandM around £15.

I've been summer holiday shopping for the last month in the desperate hope we would be allowed to travel.

Most things have been from H&M, Top Shop, M&S, Monsoon or New Look as I didn't want to spend a fortune in case the holiday was cancelled.
