Does anyone use REN Perfect Canvas Clean Primer?

I discovered this when I fell down an internet rabbit hole following a recommendation for something else on here.

I can't use a primer because they're all full of silicones, which my skin hates. This one isn't, and doesn't have oil in it either - another no-no for my skin. However it's £40, which is a lot if it doesn't work so can anyone tell me if it does, and how it performs?

Thanks Queen, I may well be tempted by the one you've linked. But that one is the serum, it's the primer I'm thinking of.

I use this and love it. Like you my skin doesn't get on with silicones and my foundation goes on over it v smoothly. I also use it on its own and it improves the texture and appearance of my skin. It is expensive but you only need 2 drops at a time so it lasts.

I love REN products. I haven't tried this one, but watching with interest as it might go on my wishlist.

Do you apply moisturiser beforehand too?

@QueenCT I think you're right. I've found ingredient lists for both the serum and the primer and they're identical. Maybe they're trying to reposition it in the market. I don't know what the serum used to cost to know if they're also bumping up the price, but TK Maxx it is. Thank you.
