Help with trainers

Can anyone recommend some trainers that have a very thick and fairly solid sole / or a low flat platform, but don't look hideous?

Recovering from broken foot & ankle, still wearing a boot, hobbling about, but the limping / swaying from the difference in height is throwing my back out completely.

I am thinking that if I could find a trainer as described above it would lessen the height difference and hopefully help my back! Super grateful for any ideas.

Converse do a platform version. And there's also Fila Disruptors if you're into that look. Get well soon!

Thank you. Def not into the Disrupter look.

And I'd love to able to wear Converse but they always bite into the back of my heel and are agony.

Still searching...

I had to buy a special thing to strap to my other foot when I was in a boot as the height difference was killing my hips and back

Hoka One One Cavu are a proper running trainer but are very high platform

Air Force 1s are the most comfortable and stylish trainers I've ever had I love them but a couple months in they are no longer white white

If it's just for a short time, figuring you won't be walking too far anyway, H&M do some really cheap flatform trainers and so do ASOS.

Oh big thanks - heart wants Air Force zones, brain wants H&M Grin
