Really slow refunds for online returns

Sorry, I think there may have been another thread about this... but I am getting slightly concerned about the lack of refunds for things I have returned.

It was mainly stuff we had ordered for teen dd and I had returned two separate packages to Urban Outfitters and got refunds after only a few days. But everything else - H&M, &Other Stories, Lululemon - I have heard anything - not even an acknowledgement of receipt of the items... it’s been 2 or 3 weeks.

Anyone else had this problem?

H&M finally refunded me after 5 weeks and some email chasing. After the refund was processed I got two emails from different people telling me they had authorised my refund and asking me to give them positive feedback via a link. Not a great experience and it's out me off shopping with them online again.

I tried to contact H&M on live chat this morning and was number 60 in the queue.

@Ifonlyiweretaller that's good to know as I'm also waiting. It's only been 2 weeks so I suppose that's managed my expectations

Think I’ve been lucky. All the following have just refunded me within 2 weeks of me posting the returns:

Boden
Cos
Zalando
Baukjen

I’m still waiting for Uniqlo and Masai, but in both cases it’s been less than a fortnight.

(I don’t normally order and return so much but I’ve lost loads of weight since last summer and none of my work clothes fit and I’m starting to have to go back to the office occasionally, so.....)

This is doing my nut in at the moment. Vowed to only buy things online that can be returned to store from now on.

Same! Although there was a long slow queue to get in to H&M on Saturday and an even longer, slower queue for the till. I guess having people manning entrances with hand sanitizer etc leaves the rest of the shop floor short.

I’ve had an acknowledgement of return from Office but not money yet and today is the 5th working day...and I’ve heard nothing from Arket so I’ve chased them. 😫

Crazy! I've had absolutely nothing from them yet - 3 weeks since returning I think it is.
