Tru diamonds - any good?

Good Morning MNetters!

I am looking for a 'fake' engagement ring to use whilst travelling. I have come across Tru diamonds which are lab grown diamonds but very cheap compared to other lab grown diamonds.
Has anyone had experience with their products?

Thank you Smile

They look fine to me for travelling but they’re not lab grown diamonds.

Their “about us” page says so. Lab grown diamonds are chemically the same structure as diamond (but worth much less with very little resale value) - these are closer to cubic zirconia. Just for travelling though, they will do the job. They look fine!

How long are you going travelling for? Can't you just not wear a ring?
Depending on where you are travelling it may attract the wrong attention (despite it holding no real financial or sentimental value to you)

Try Diamonique on QVC. They are CZ. They also have a new range of real lab grown diamonds called Firelight but they are really expensive, more the cost of real ones! Shock

Thanks for the feedback. Yep, wasn't sure of they are lab grown so that explain that!
1940s I'm not going wear a flashy ring. It's our honeymoon and I would like to enjoy the moment.
ScrubbedHands awesome thanks! :)

Try Ideal World and Moissanite rings...they are great.

That makes sense :) I didn't know if it was a decision based on risk of theft. Enjoy your honeymoon!

Tru Diamonds are worthless so if you lose them it’s not going to hurt you.
