Bras

I took a look in the drawer and realised that most of my bras are very old. I'm talking ten years.

I bought a new one and OMG the difference it has made. I feel like a new woman so I ordered another.

I'm going to chuck all my old ones away but not until I have enough new ones.

Question is, how many are adequate and how many do you have?

At the moment one because I’m a 28D and have trouble finding variety at that size that I actually like.

Got an every day Freya one that is very much separate them and point them out.

I need a strapless too but they make them with weird cups that really cut in. Wonderbra did the best strapless ones years ago but start at 32.

I can't find a decent bra anywhere 😩

I had loads of lovely beautiful ones then I had an augmentation and now I struggle to find any in my size and they're all really ugly when I do (32GG)

And now I'm pregnant so I've changed size again and don't want to spend an absolute fortune for bras I'll wear for a few months.

I'm in bra hell

I've lost a lot of weight in the last year so have had to buy new bras several times. I think you need a minimum of 4, possibly 2 black and 2 nude (1 to wear, 1 to wash) depending on your wardrobe.

I like pretty but comfortable bras and have settled on certain brands that fit my shape well - Curvy Kate, Panache, Tutti Rouge and Gossard. I have a larger cup size so my recommendations may not work for you oif you don't need a DD+ cup.

Prices vary massively, Brastop is good for sale bargains, likewise Belle Lingerie. It's always worth finding a style and size that works and then combing ebay for (new and labelled) bargains too.

I have loads because I love buying underwear (and am never on top of my washing Blush). I like to have enough for a weeks holiday without having to do washing- so 7 minimum. I know some people rewear them but I don’t feel comfy if I do.

@passthemustard I'm a 32FF or G and I get all of mine at Brastop.
They have some lovely ones from £15-20! And the matching knickers if that's your thing.
I found that the Curvy Kate brand seem to fit me best so I just keep an eye on the Brastop website and buy them when they have a good offer or have dropped the price of styles I like.

I usually have 6 - 2 each of black, white and nude.

I am a 36DD but can't seem to find well-supporting bras. I don't really like wired ones but was led to believe this was necessary for bigger boobs - is this true?

Any ideas for decent bras that don't cost the earth. thanks.

I wSh after each wear. Upbringing! I own about a dozen in different colours, some bolds, some pastels, some multi coloured. I don’t do white or beige. ‘Boring and functional looking and reminds me of school.

I buy 2 pairs of matching knix when l buy a new bra.

StarlightLady · 07/07/2020 18:12

Correction: l wash (a bra) after each wear.

Ive got a couple of fancy ones that never see the light of day and then two black, two white, two nude then a couple in random colours like pink and cobalt that I've bought for a particular outfit.

My white / black / nude are all from Victorias Secret, they are the comfiest bras I've had. I'm a 36C.
