Want to follow this! I really want my top lip done, I've never smoked but have "smokers lines"! Maybe my forehead as well, quite nervous though.

I would find out if you have any dentists in your area, who do botox and fillers etc
They are very knowledgable about the nerves and muscles in the face of course, i wouldn't go to a beauty salon, make sure whoever you find is registered with Save face, you can google it,

Definitely go to a dentist over a nurse or doctor - they have better training in facial anatomy!

What is your area? I have botox & fillers

In my experience of fillers and Botox (have both) I use a dentist for Botox because it’s cheaper but pay more for specialist aesthetician for fillers. Botox I don’t think you can go too wrong but fillers you really can. I’m not saying that more expensive is better necessarily but I’ve found you get a more tailored approach and longer appointments if you go to a specialist.

I found mine via a google search for facial aestheticians. Mine only does aesthetic work which I think is a good indicator as it’s her only business. You could maybe call a couple and see what they do and prices. I pay about £400 per ml of filler generally though it can be more/less per ml depending on the area being treated.

When you go the appointment you should have a good length conversation before you start on any procedure. They should ask what you want to achieve and they should be honest with you about whether that’s possible and how much it will cost. I have a few tweaks rather than lots in one area and natural looking, so much so that the few people I’ve told are surprised, not sure if that’s a good or a bad sign!!

If you’re anywhere near SW London I can give you her name Smile
