Seborrheic dermatitis on chin?

Evening!

I’ve got a couple of persistent patches on my chin of slightly raised, pale skin which seems to build up with dry skin before flaking off. The process then starts again. I also have a small patch on my forehead. Which is slightly pink, raised and again flakes eventually. I’ve treated them as acne really with Salicylic acid etc. But they’ve been there for months with no improvement.
Interestingly, I’m fairly sure it coincided with my beginning to use adapalene (differin).

Could it be seborrheic dermatitis or something similar?

Thanks I’m advance

Xx

Have you tried washing with Nizoral or something similar?
It could be peri oral dermatitis which can also occur near the eye so if your forehead is similar then maybe it isn’t this.
Maybe mention this to the GP if you can?
