I have always heard it’s pretty rubbish in terms of quality and random sizing but some of teen dd’s friends have apparently managed to get ok stuff from there...

Any thoughts? Is it all polyester?

Pile of crap from China.

The one order I made ages ago arrived and was thin, misshapen, frayed, creased and staticky, absolute junk and I threw it all straight in the bin (sending it back deliberately complicated).

Avoid.

Sweatshops.

Also, no, it's all cheap and itchy and falls apart

Notcontent · 05/07/2020 23:15

Thank you. Ethical considerations aside (so much stuff is from China anyway - are these factories worse?), I guess the main issue is that if you order 3 things and only one of them is barely ok, then it’s not much of a bargain...

I found their stuff to be good. It's fast fashion so doubt it will last 4 years or anything but I've washed and tumbled all my stuff from there and it's been absolutely fine.

Their shorts are great, better quality than primark and new look.

CuppaZa · 05/07/2020 23:24

Similar quality to primark. Slow delivery as comes from China. Sizes run VERY small

toomanyplants · 05/07/2020 23:35

I've had a few things from there, and to be honest it's been ok, sizing pretty small, so size up, delivery 2 weeks from order.
I tried it at the start of lockdown and got a few summer outfits, I'll use again.

wishywashywoowoo70 · 06/07/2020 09:28

I bought a load of bits for my DD it was fine. For her well. Not sure I'd order for myself it's too fashionable and I'm a boring dresser

Wyntersdiary · 06/07/2020 09:29

i bought a dress which i love now , colour did fade pretty quickly but was still a lovely dress for the price also bought some bits, id say its 70% good abit like ebay or wish, cheap stuff but sometimes you can get a bargain.

Bought some shoes for my son that he has worn everyday for 2 months and they are still going strong and were so well made

Ellewoods20 · 06/07/2020 09:51

It used to be awful but now it's pretty good. I've had some things that are identical to clothes from Zara and are of the same quality. I've sent one things back because I didn't like it and the return and refund were as quick as other shops.

stressedhousebuyer · 06/07/2020 11:11

I bought stuff and it was utterly rubbish but that was a couple of years ago

chunkyrun · 06/07/2020 11:15

Quality is awful but it does come from a sweatshop. I'd rather buy second hand then finance such awful working conditions

RiverCrossing · 06/07/2020 11:22

I have a few bits from there. I read a tip here previously which said to read reviews carefully and make sure you measure yourself against the size guides. I did these things and have been pleasantly impressed actually, with sizing and quality. I suspect it’s a bit hit and miss generally!

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 06/07/2020 11:23

I like it, buy a lot and as long as you zoom in on the pics to gauge the fabric, look at the items reviews often with customer pictures and read the sizing of each item then its ok. I have bought lots from them and most has been really good quality fabric. I have had a few viscosey type items that were not so good but nothing has gone back or gone in the bin. In fact my latest order was just delivered, denim dungarees that are great!

ChequerBoard · 06/07/2020 11:36

I ordered once and never again. The dress that arrived looked and felt like like a mail sack - truly terrible rough, scratchy fabric that bore zero resemblance to the images on thee website.

Avoid avoid.
