How often do you find you need to do yours and how long do you leave the dye on each time?

3-4 weeks, 10-15 mins. I use dybrow and mix the brown and the black tubes to get a darker brown.

Splattherat · 05/07/2020 22:41

Every 4-5 weeks i got something from Amazon its fab last time left it on for 15 minutes but too dark for me I thinking maybe 11-12 minutes.

I'm so tempted to do mine but too chicken, usually I get them done but have invested in Charlotte Tilbury brow gel in lockdown

Splattherat · 05/07/2020 23:48

Dd did mine and we didn’t even use any vaseline. I normally get mine done at a salon. But if DD is still up for doing them I don’t think I’ll bother.

I use Just for Men beard/moustache dye

Anordinarymum · 06/07/2020 01:59

I dye my hair with Herbatint. It's not tested on animals and is amonia free so it's the same as eyebrow dye which is peroxide and colour.
I paint my brows with it sparingly when I do my hair.
I used to have my brows microbladed but it is very expensive. I find the pen from JML which have the same effect as microblading lasting for 24 hours is just as good

FearlessSwiftie · 06/07/2020 08:28

I do mine every 4-6 weeks (when I become too lazy to use an eyebrow mascara every day or don't want to edit another selfie in Photodiva before post it because my brows are invisible!) and it takes about 15-20 minutes, I love when the brows are dark.

mumhumdrum · 06/07/2020 11:33

Do eyebrow mascaras actually work?? I've never tried one..

I leave mine on for about 10 mins. Needs redoing every 4-6 weeks or so.
I'm very blonde, and my natural eyebrows are almost invisible. So I go mid brown and then let them fade to almost their natural colour which, while not looking 100% how I like them, at least it looks a tiny bit darker than natural.

TARSCOUT · 06/07/2020 11:49

Fortnight normally as I'm so fair but seen a tip to use just for men beard dye. 3 weeks in they're just starting to fade. 5 minutes no more. I won't need to get them done at a salon again.
