I've just started getting Birchbox and I can't say I'm overly impressed with it.

Beauty Pie - and yes I like it

I used o have Birchbox and Glossybox, I prefered GlossyBox but I think they get a bit samey after about 12 months.

I used to get Glossybox but realised I would rather pick my own products and I was wasting my money, so I stopped it and didn’t miss it.

@youhave4substitutes I'm not sure if they have a referral code but it's all more skincare products than make up. It just doesn't seem to be work the money even though they send you a leaflet telling you it is and RRP etc.

Are the bloom and wild subscriptions worth it would you say?

@RiverMeadow I absolutely love mine - beautiful flowers every month, always different (seasonal) and they go through the letterbox so fine if you are at work when they’re delivered. The flowers last really well. I always use them for gifts now too.

I think the subscription is worth it. Maybe a 3 month one using a code then a break for a while if the novelty wears off.

I'm going to pass on the birch box I think.

Would like some nice face masks and home pamper products though if any recommendations

I just started Look Fantastic's Beauty Blx subscription and I love it so far! My 2nd month. Has anybody else received the July Box? Strangely (but I prefer the products in my box), the comtents don't match the video unboxing on their web page, bar one item that is the same. Anyone else got this too?
I'd also like a subscription with more make up or well being items (natural or plus candle/self care) - do you recommend one?

Another one for Look fanstatics beauty box, always pleased with them and July's was really good. @Penguins1 just watched the video after you mentioned it and yes mine was different to that too but is the same as this months main photo.

@Penguins1 on and off tried it few years ago and signed up again in January for a 12 month subscription, I like looking forward to a surprise box each month

I ordered the look fantastic for my daughter, delivery for July's hasn't even been posted! They arrive at random times, they stopped the Elle magazine without warning or reducing the price and when I asked why it was pretty much 'we don't care you've got a 12 month subscription'

I would never sign up for a year again even if there is a small saving on the box, got for quarterly for any and then you can swap and change around.

I've just signed up to Beauty pie. At the moment they're doubling your allowance for the first month and then I had a code for an extra £50 allowance. I spent about £70 for £240 rrp. I like being able to choose. I don't think I'll continue much past the 3mth minimum, but it's a treat whilst wfh and saving on petrol. I'm impressed by what I've received so far.

Beauty Pie isn't a monthly subscription box. You pay a membership fee each month (from £5-£30 - you choose), then you order whenever you want. If you don't order that month your allowance is carried over. I've been a member from nearly the beginning. I order every three or four months.

I get the Look Fantastic box each month too - I really like it, lots of variety in terms of different products to try before spending a fortune on new products.

I get birch boxes, for about a year now. I’m going to cancel though as they have become a bit sparse (probably due to pandemic?) and I really don’t want the hair care stuff. Never use it. I like the skin care, nail and make up things.

I’ve just stared getting the ‘latest in beauty‘ box, there’s three tiers (£9 for three items, £15 for 6 and £18 for 9) and you get to choose from a selection of full size and samples. Only on my second month but it’s been good so far

Beauty pie package arrived, I’m very impressed DH not so much though, I bought a new footner thing with them. I did try the actual footner during lock down and everyone hated it and me, it really didn’t work.

I’m hoping for a better result this time, it’s on...
