Home false lashes; anyone had any success?

I'd like to make my lashes look thicker, not necessarily longer, as I wear glasses. I'm thinking of using strip lashes, but don't know whether to go with glue on ones, or try these magnetic ones I keep seeing. I can't really afford to get them done at a salon(though I did many years ago and it was amazing)
I wondered if anyone had any type they'd recommend please?

I bought some tatti lashes over lockdown and was pretty impressed at how soft and natural (but big) they looked. I get my lashes done at the salon so felt I needed to keep going with the false lashes and these were pretty good. It's always a big faff putting them on everyday though and I got bored after a few weeks.

A couple of friends and my lash lady have all bought the magnetic ones and I haven't heard a good thing about them. None of them have been impressed
