Dandruff

How do you effectively get rid of dandruff, since all the coronavirus/furlough/less money it's been on my mind and seems to have made me have dandruff, I use the xpel ginger shampoo or sometimes the banana/strawberry ones, I also started trying to wash my hair less a few months ago which has reduced the greasy hair returning so soon( I used to wash every other day now do every 2nd day) but the dandruff seems to have started also around that time, what can I do to properly get rid of it and prevent it returning?

I use that pink shampoo, Nizoral or something like that, every time I get a flair up. Seems to do the job.

Re: not returning, it probably depends what type of dandruff it is. I suspect mine is a type of psoriasis. I think other kinds can be caused by fungus.

I tried to reduce washing my hair and this coincided with dandruff appearing 😳, cleared it with vosene and back to washing every other day. If I try to extend the days between washing the dandruff comes back.
I’ve just gone back to washing every other day As I’d rather not have the dandruff.
