How many coats/jackets do you own?

Trying to whittle down my collection and i really do not know what is a sensible number!

Currently 3 coats and 5 jackets. I could do with another coat though.

Mm.
Two waxed barbours, two quilted barbours, two puffer-type coats, one wool coat, two branded (work) coats, one lightweight waterproof, two work waterproofs and a lightweight formal spring coat.
So that’s thirteen. More than I thought 😂

No idea, probably about 20, I recently had a clear out.

I have 5 in total.

2 trench coats, a Parka, a padded winter coat, a wool coat (seen better days) and a posh cashmere one that I never wear.

Millions. Some for smart. Some
For casual. Some for rain. Some for winter. Some for summer ( Scotland!). Lots in different sizes that I’m currently getting rid of size 10 to 14 cos my weight fluctuates doe to illness. Too many tbh. ☹️

So many. Jackets are my weakness. And I rarely wear a jacket so I have no idea why I do this.

Recently bought a jacket to wear ‘to the races’. Last went to the races in 2004. No plans to go again any time soon.

1. One leather , one denim , one raincoat , one padded parka coat.

Also in Scotland - you need many options to deal with the weather. It’s freezing one day and muggily boiling but raining the next. I have:

Summer:
Denim jacket
Cropped army jacket
Trench coat
Horrible but waterproof lightweight jacket for dog walking
Wool blazer x 2, one oversized and one ordinary plain black

Winter:
Proper waterproof navy coat for dog walking (used frequently in summer too)
Grey tartan long wool coat
Calf-length tan wool coat (v shabby now but I love it so - also oddly warmer than the longer one)
Full-on snow jacket (also ugly but functional - but will wear the not-ugly dog walking coat until at extremes to avoid this one)

Also have handful of previous winter wool coats that ought to be chucked out as worn out. They’re all from topshop/H&M/Zara except the dog walking items, so not the longest lasting.

I don’t know. Loads. I can’t stop buying them and I also find them hard to throw out. They are my weak spot.

One extra jacket in storage from when I had to wear a black suit to work, (hospitality), but I don't wear it, as it isn't really my style.

Oh hang on no, just remembered two very wet weather coats! So 2 jackets and 5 coats.

Huge, soft grey, faux fur coat

3-1 outdoor coat

DH has loads.

5 leather/fake leather jackets
4 summer weight fabric coats

1 short trench coat
5 faux fur coats
3 gillets
May have left some out
Probably 20 jackets/blazers

Having said that, I wear pretty much the same clothes year round - black skinny jeans and a grey tee shirt (short or long sleeved) and change shoes/boots and jacket/coat to suit the weather. Rarely wear a jumper

I think 17, I do wear nearly all of them but really don’t need that many.
