Getting my hair done today. I currently have long brown hair. I've booked in for blonde highlights. Now I'm thinking I should just go full blonde.

WWYD? Is going full blonde too big of a change? Should I ease into it with the highlights?

Going full bleach blonde is a longer process, so it's tricky to switch last minute depending on how your hair dresser books appointments.

It's also not done in one appt. if you have brown hair now. It's usually around 3, with an awkward orange-ish stage in between. If you've not gone blonde before, would say do highlights first. You can also get more done to increase the blonde

Haha that’s not a decision you can make on the fly like this - your hairdresser won’t have time, especially during the first day they reopen during the pandemic! They are probably fully booked with back to back appointments and any free time will be used for deep cleaning, so your only option may be to cancel and book another appointment (whenever that may be, weeks etc).

I think going blonde gradually with highlights looks nice. I doubt you’ll be able to go from brown to a nice blonde within 1 appointment as you may need multiple sessions so you wouldn’t leave the salon blonde regardless.

Full blonde is wwaayyy harder on the upkeep/roots side of things
