Help needed to regain my mojo!

I've been in the trenches of having babies for the last four years and have been neglecting myself in terms of fashion and grooming so I'm desperate to regain some of my mojo!

At 5'8'' I was always very slim, straight up and down figure, and liked wearing clothes that 'hang' on my frame. Now at 39 and 2 kids later I have ENORMOUS boobs and even when I lose a bit more baby weight I think my body shape has fundamentally changed so the kind of clothes I gravitate to will no longer suit me.

So, wise ladies I need your help to find some new clothes styles that will suit me. I'm stuck in a rut of skinny jeans and would love to start getting into more on trend culottes/ mom jeans/ trousers etc. My problem is I have a flat bum and skinny legs but am more apple shaped around the middle. Also, what kind of tops suit a bigger bust without making me look so bloody 'matronly'?

I like the look of 'paperbag' trousers like these - https://www.veromoda.com/ie/en/vm/shop-by-category/trousers-and-leggings/paperbag-cargo-trousers-10234505.html?cgid=vm-trousers&dwvarcolorPattern=102345055_IvyGreen, any other styles I should consider?

Any advice much appreciated!

Also 5’ 8” but never been straight up and down and more hourglass

Being honest, I like them too, but paper bag waists are not good on apples - sorry. On hourglass they also bulk.

However, try a pair (darker colours will bulk less) and see what you think. People can pull off different looks. I still wear higher waist jeans as they have been in fashion for a while and I like the look. But in truth waists that are mid-rise look better

I wear a lot of shirts on top but I buy in a 16 to avoid boob gape. LYou can also French tuck them into higher waist. I still love crew neck - which you are meant to avoid with a large bust but make sure you have a good bra on and they are fine.

Oversized things are in at the moment but tucking is needs to debulk them a bit.

I like arket, &otherbstories For shirts (size 42 is good to avoid gape) but their trousers are not that good for tall people

Thanks @gwynfluff, I think I just need to try on a few styles to see what works. High waisted stuff always gapes around the bum on me but perhaps I have more bum these days anyway!

Thanks for the brand recommendations, I definitely need to start buying higher quality stuff
