Stretchy strand test - hair bleach.

Using Wella blondor multi blonde powder lightener and 9% Wella Welloxon Perfect.

Strand test colour was great. Hair was quite stretchy though when I washed off the bleach. 24 hrs later it's fine not breaking up.

Am I safe to go ahead and do highlights?

No don’t do it if your hair is stretchy it will go like candy floss

YorkieTheRabbit · 04/07/2020 10:10

Not unless you want to wave to it as it slides down the plug hole 😱

For gods sake no. go to a professional in a couple of weeks.your hair should not be 'stretchy'.

No op, if it’s stretchy when it’s wet it’s damaged, don’t put further bleach on it. Book yourself a salon appointment. A genius stylist turned me from a very dark dyed brown to light blonde a few years ago with very little damage. Boxed bleach and highlight kits are hair killers.
