How to style oversized tunic?

I’m thinking I need to balance it with skinny jeans or even thick, opaque tights in the winter, but I’m petite and am wondering if it could be styled with a waist belt? If so, what kind? Thin, thick...remember wearing belts loads about 10-12 years ago but not sure now... x

I love an oversized top/dress /tunic but I think they don’t really work with a belt- too much fabric ends up bunching you weirdly and the hem goes all loppy. If you what it oversizes you need to embrace the oversizedness of it. If you what it fitted at the waist, don’t buy oversized! I wear mine with skinnies, straigh legs, ankle length wide legs and just sometimes leggings too.
