Depends on what type of party? If it was an evening Saturday night at a nice venue, with drinks and music then I’d wear a nice dress. Probably in baby or black with shiny shoes! If it’s a daytime party then probably a jumpsuit. Also depends on what you’re comfortable in.

Am I the shape and size I am now? Also, what is the dress code? Formal/casual/whatever? Am I taking a hypothetical question far too seriously ?

I went to a nice pub with family for my 50th, haven't a clue what I wore but can still remember the party. As a "bonus" Liam Fox held the door open for me.

I'm 43 now... so in 7 years time I hope to be 3 stone lighter therefore I'd be wearing something slinky I hope!!
