Wondered why rich women have such knackered hair?.

The women who aren’t rich by comparison have much better hair. Is it an age thing?.

I mean money usually works wonders on life’s fripperies like hair & skin.

I wonder if it's because they go to more social events, visit the hairdresser beforehand, therefore more blow drys etc and more stress on the hair?

I wonder if that’s why Princess Charlene keeps her hair short?.

They’ve got elaborate probably incredibly expensive clothes, shoes, make up, jewellery & then really dry fragile looking hair. I thought they’d all be coiffed keratin blow dried opalex-d rapunzuls.

A lot of them are older so the menopause must be a factor.

I haven't seen the documentary (OT is it worth a watch?) but IME with wealthy Monagasques being thin is everything over there. Chronically undereating does show up in hair, as does smoking (to supress appetite). Even if they're not thin they're working at being it, it's not even the norm, it's the expectation.

If they do eat, they tend to pick at fruit and veg, have an obsession with apple cider vinegar cleanses, avoid carbs (important b vitamins for hair) and only eating protein sparingly (also essential for hair) and all fats are the devil (another essential for healthy hair). Add in lots of UV exposure, potentially chlorinated private pools and it's the perfect recipe for damaged hair.

Oh I see. Starving yourself is never a good idea.
