Navy or white sneakers

About to replace my beloved Paul green navy trainers, they are outrageously comfortable and I’ve worn them to death. Tempted by white to be more up to date but is it? Can you wear white with navy trousers or only denim? Will they get trashed quickly?

Navy has the advantages of not showing the dirt and looking great 12 months of the year. But white are lovely for summer. That's not helpful is it?
