Zara have a few nice white tips under £30

Mango do too.

ambereeree · 29/06/2020 16:34

I really like the second one OP. The first one is nice too but a bit expensive for what it is.

AhBallix · 29/06/2020 16:45

I quite like it. I wouldn't wear it myself as I'd look like a ship in full sail, but even if it would suit me, I wouldn’t pay that much for it. At that price, the chances of it ending up in the machine with a red sock are high.

AhBallix · 29/06/2020 16:46

Oh, there's been a second one. I'm way behind!

TooMinty · 29/06/2020 17:52

The three I'd wear, in order of preference are Mango, Warehouse, ASOS.

Bioprepper · 29/06/2020 18:00

wow id expect to pay £15 to £25 for that original top!! Sorry not for me just based on the price alone

borntohula · 29/06/2020 18:11

Would look horrible on my DD boobs.

woodhill · 29/06/2020 18:13

Bubble hems are very forgiving of my stomach so I like them

PeppermintPasty · 29/06/2020 18:16

I seem to be in the minority, I like the first one, all the ones following are yuck. It’s way too expensive though.

Atalune · 29/06/2020 18:33

Don’t like either of them TBH.

What sort of style are you going for? They are rather dated looking.

Lardlizard · 30/06/2020 12:36

Just after some summer tops really

ambereeree · 30/06/2020 13:12

How old are you OP? I think a bubble hem is flattering and you're slim anyway.

Lardlizard · 30/06/2020 15:37

Early 40s

I'm the same age as you and would go for the warehouse top. The first one might make you look frumpy and older.

VenusClapTrap · 30/06/2020 17:07

I like the original one. I’ve considered it myself actually, but would probably wait till it’s on sale.

SmileyClare · 30/06/2020 18:56

I'm a sucker for a pretty white top in the summer but wouldn't spend a lot. White tops soon start to look a bit dingy and discoloured so it's not an investment piece. I'd spend more on clothes that would last.

It looks like something you'd pick up in Tescos Nothing wrong with Supermarket clothes! I've bought some great summer tops in Tescos. It's worth a look.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 30/06/2020 18:58

The first one is ridiculously overpriced. I'm not fond of the Warehouse one.

Agree with a PP that Fatface might be worth a look. I got a lovely one there last summer and have worn it loads.

MooMinCow · 30/06/2020 19:57

H&M have lots of pretty white tops/blouses in at the moment! A lot are pure cotton as well.
