Can you order online from Next without opening an account?

I don't want to have an account - just order a couple of things and pay on my credit card but when I click through to the payment page it seems opening an account is unavoidable. Can anyone advise please?

I think you have to register with them, but you don't have to open a credit account, just pay in full at the checkout. Be aware, they charge for delivery AND returns, which I was a bit disappointed with during lockdown seeing as though we didn't have the option to return in store!

No, any time you order online it opens an account for you automatically. Maybe ask them in store for details or can you go into store and just ask them to order the item for you?

Looks like you can use a credit/debit card if you order on the phone.

If you’d like to place your order by phone, we’re open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We can only take orders over the telephone that will be paid by a credit or debit card. The billing address of your credit or debit card must match your delivery address.

That's odd, unless it's changed recently then. I don't have a credit account with them and order stuff frequently online, pay it by debit card?

To shop online with us, you will need to create an account. This can be either a Nextpay account, a Next 3Step account or a regular account where you can make payments with a credit/debit card at the checkout.
