I'm a True Winter cool-toned rectangle, I need a winter coat, will this work?

I know it's a long shot, but can I make this camel coat work? It's A-line.

It also comes in a bathrobe shape.

I know deep dark black suits me the most but the camel is so cool!!!

I don't think you can wear camel as a winter. I certainly can't (deep winter).

Well yes you could wear it, but as a True Winter it’s going to make you look washed out and/ or sallow.

No navy. Just black, and charcoal (I don't like this eventhough it might work) and brown melange. Obviously, the black is the one that suits me but the camel is cooler and on trend.

The shape is horrible with the belt. Do you want an open coat?

Yeah, probably not going to wear it belted. I am also a straight size 14 so the other style, the bathrobe style, looks really like a bathrobe on me.

Doesn't matter how on trend it is if it's going to make you look dug up !

I tried on a pink coat (when they were achingly trendy ) my DD (curse her straight talking) told me I looked like A Prawn
I put it back on the rail

Camel undertones can be ash or yellow so you can wear a dark ash one with your cool bright winter colours in your scarf?

I think these coats have strong yellow/golden undertones though?

I'm a bright winter and I couldn't wear that colour. It would clash with the rest of my clothes, too!

Headlock. I had an appointment with this lady. I went in thinking I was a summer, but I turned out to be a True Winter.
She probably can’t do appointments right now. It was expensive but she systematically checks each seasons colours so you get to the right one.

Camel is a Spring or Autumn colour because it’s mid-tone and warm. Your colouring is dark and cool - the exact opposite. I don't think the style is great for a size 14 rectangle. You need a slightly more skimming / fitted shape. It does look great in the pictures though.

Try it in dark grey, I bet it would look great on you.
