Summer Dresses

I'm in need of some nice summer dresses, casual wear for everyday.
Has anyone bought any nice ones lately? Any pictures greatly appreciated! Thanks

What kind of style and price are you looking for?

Everywhere have sale going on, COS and TOAST have nice dresses. I like SEASIDE tones too (and recommend them all the time but I swear they don't pay me) - their dresses have pockets.

Sea salt and White Stuff both have some nice everyday dresses at the moment b

@TornadoOfSouls any kind of midi dress really, short sleeved, something that I can wear to the shops, School run etc, casual but smart.

I’ve just bought this, it’s v flattering and looks more expensive than what it is. Ticks all my boxes. Not keen on the other prints or I would buy one in every colour!

@Aginplease in that case, definitely have a look at the Toast sale. I got two lovely dresses there recently. Looks like those particular ones are sold out but there are still some lovely ones and they usually have pockets. I love their midi dresses. Just be aware that some of them have a lot of fabric in the skirt, which drowns me completely at 5’ 2”.

I find EBay great for dresses and skirts too. I’ve had amazing bargains from Toast, Hobbs, LK Bennett, and it’s also worth trawling through M&S on there if you have time.

I saw some surprisingly nice day dresses in the mountain warehouse sale yesterday. Very seasalt in style.

I was going to suggest Mountain Warehouse too. They are very inexpensive. I have a few and I am impressed with the quality.

OP I know that dresses are the holy grail and I promise I don’t work for Next! But - this skirt is flattering and looks good with a tee and trainers.

I bought a couple recently from
apricot. First time buying from them- and yes, did the usual ordered 5 send 3 back! But I ended up with two that are comfy and flattering 🙂
