Does anyone know what's happening with barber shops?

Will they have to operate via appointments only, does anyone know? I've driven by several local barbers today and can't see any info in their windows so has the government not issued advice yet to men's barbers?

The barbers my OH uses have advertised their appointment booking system on FB. They are opening on 4th July like hairdressers.

As PP, my sons barber is doing Facebook appointments only. It's a tiny two chair place, the barbers are going to alternate days and have requested to turn up at time of appointment, no waiting allowed.

They do also have a notice in the window but that only went up recently, after I found out about the FB booking system via a friend. I'd imagine many will rely on word of mouth through loyal customers.

Am on the waiting list for a call from my own hairdresser, which is large town centre salon (the barbers is on the local parade!). They have around ten chairs, but it's very spacious so am waiting to see what their guidelines are.
