Eternity band? Where to get one?

I am looking for an approx 2.5mm platinum eternity band and have no idea where to get one. Tiffany/ DeBeers etc other big branded shops are ridiculously expensive and you are paying for the name. Goldsmiths and other high street jewellers use low colour/ clarity diamonds.

Can anybody recommend something in between the two which uses well cut diamonds, minimum G colour? It would need to be somewhere online rather than going to a shop due to the dreaded Covid19.

I look for independent jewellers. Justin Duance in Cornwall make nice things but may not be to your taste. Nicholas Wylde in Bath perhaps? Both are online.

Hatton Garden or the jewellery quarter in Birmingham?

Many years ago we bought my eternity ring from these people in Hatton Garden, as you say, much more reasonably priced than Tiffany's etc. Their after care service has been excellent www.eternityjewels.co.uk/eternity_ring/index.html

Marlows Jewellery quarter Birmingham

Golden Mile in Leicester / Jewellry Quarter in Birmingham are usually great places to find quality jewellry. I think there is still a Damas in London (which I prefer in terms of quality) but not sure.

I used a jeweller in Hatton Garden to make mine. He came to us as a recommendation from a friend and he's made a beautiful ring. He is happy to take your images and work to them. You can specify all your criteria in terms of size and colour and we got a much nicer ring for our budget by going direct than to a shop. I originally thought I wanted an in channel design but having tried one it was too bulky for my hands. I'm using the eternity ring as a wedding ring, or would have been if it wasn't for Covid !! Have to share details if you think you'd like to use a Hatton Garden jeweller.

Try Sophie breitmeyer - lots of lovely options

Jewellery Quarter Birmingham lots to choose from and you could even have one made to your specific requirements.

Definitely head to Hatton Garden! So many terrific jewellers down there and you'll get far more for your money than Tiffany/De Beers

Thank you. Although I know Hatton Gardens/ Birmingham are good, I don’t want to order anything bespoke in case it’s not right. I’d rather go for something that I can send back if I’m ordering online.

I have rings from comparethediamond.com - would recommend if you can bear all the scrolling!

We went to a local independent (in Cirencester). Great service, exactly as specified. Tbf, we walked in and said “like this one in your window but different stones and metal and setting and decoration...”. If you know what you want, bring pictures etc, that should help. I had no idea on what colour and clarity I could get for our budget, and they gave us a range of quotes and sensible advice on stuff I hadn’t considered, like, “with your habits you will destroy a silver setting”. The last chain jewellers I ventured into took three members of staff to determine whether they sold watch batteries, so quite the contrast!

My rings are from Bluenile.com and my husband found them good to deal with both times. And I love my rings too obvs

@PurBal. Thank you for suggesting Justin Duance. I have been looking for a jeweller to make a signet ring for a 21st birthday, and you may just have ticked all my boxes!
